THE JOHN RICHARDSON FRENCH RESIDENCY
In Association with Le Centre Culturel Irlandais and Irish Artist Eamon Colman

Hambly & Hambly are delighted to sponsor a ten day residency in France for three Artists on an annual basis. The residency is under the name of John Richardson, Ciara Hambly’s late father who supported her initiaitives in Hambly & Hambly so whole-heartedly. An open call is made in June for submissions from Artists of all genres and medium; literary, musical, visual. H&H shortlist from the entries a finalist group of entries and their submissions are complied into a physical exhibition in the gallery and a virtual exhibition on our website. A panel of ten judges headed by Nora Hickey M’Scihili director of Le Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris then make the final selection of the three winning Artists to take part in the fully-funded residency under the mentorship in France of Irish Artist Eamon Colman.
