Join us for a week in France developing your painting with eminent Irish Artist,
Elected Member of Aosdána & Teacher Eamon Colman.
With focus on colour in nature, this fully immersive experience will centre on
plein-air painting in the beautiful landscape of the Charente Maritime and is
suitable for artists of all experiences. Participants will benefit from small group
sessions and one-one mentorship tailored specifically to their individual
practice and development. This week promises an unforgettable impact for all
experiences of artists, with returning participants year on year.
Mornings and afternoons are structured with workshops and individual
mentoring. Evenings introduce poetry recitals linking literature to visual art in
inspirational inter-disciplinary practice. There is strong feature on gastronomy
from the local area throughout with all meals prepared from regional produce.
The beautiful village of Dampierre sur Boutonne, with its renaissance Chateau
and artistic activities provides a perfect setting for creative growth.
Week One: 2 places remain
Week Two is available for individual bookings. We also welcome private small
group bookings, minimum 4 participants, maximum 8, with the week format
tailored to your request to include art appreciation sessions and cultural visits.

Includes all tuition, full-board accommodation in the village of Dampierre Sur
Boutonne @ Petite Ferme Gites, airport transfers.
£150 single room supplement.
